This might not be gadget-related per say, but it’s definitely worth the space it takes up on this page. We’ve seen Steve Jobs a lot this year. He’s showed us new generation iPod music players in September. He unveiled what the iPad and MacBook Air’s child prodigies look like. Yes, I’m talking about the shiny new 11 and 13 inch Macbook Airs. Every single time we saw him he was wearing that mythical outfit that probably has a trademark by now. Some people may like his style. For fanboys (and girls) Apple has recently released “iWear”, a fashion line that delivers the look and style of its “trendsetting” CEO. The ad campaign that encourages people to “Be like Steve’ will be displayed in major publications and websites during this year’s holiday season.
“This is the next logical step,” says Apple PR chief Katie “100%” Cotton. “Since Steve controls so much of our lives anyway, it just makes sense to let him dress us too.”
Unfortunately iWear is a figment of the overactive but quite funny imagination of Scoopertino. But I’m pretty sure there are at least a couple of Steve Jobs fans out there that would’ve considered buying it, if it was sold in stores. Be sure to read the label in the image above! :)
