Meet the Sony Suny Ericssom P999

Publicat de Sapphire Tuesday, January 23, 2007 1 comentarii

Now i know you've all heard of Sony Ericsson's P990, but how many people out there can honestly say that they have heard of the Suny Ericssom P999? Probably very few. That's because the phone is close to nonexistent when you google it and yet another proof that Chinese manufacturers can gather up what they like, add what they do best to produce a mobile phone that at first sight is a re-vamped version of another phone already present on the market.

But if you stop to think about it, at least in this case, the Chinese have borrowed and modified Sony Ericsson's name as well as their design, and while the phone does look like a Sony Ericsson, it doesn't resemble any existing model.

Actually, the phone is quite surprising, and we can even go as far as saying that the manufacturer did a better job at designing it than Sony Ericsson themselves would have managed to do.

The features aren't all that bad either. The P999 comes with a pretty huge 3.1 inch 256k color screen, 4 speakers and a 2 megapixel camera with video recording capabilities. While its not clear how large the internal memory is, rest assured that you can store a pretty decent amount of files on a memory card, due to the fact that the P999 is also equipped with a MicroSD card slot.

Also, this is the first time we can say that Chinese phones are cheap and actually be happy about it. If Sony Ericsson doesn't quite meet your needs, maybe Suny Ericssom P999 will, at $197, available with either english or chinese user interface.

PalmSoft Technologia is announcing the launch of their latest game, Inferi Dii, a fun-filled action game. Now, for those that skipped the Mythology lesson (if there is such a thing), the Inferi Dii were the Roman gods of the underworld.

The game is based on the Myth of Persephone’s Abduction. According to the Greek Myth, Hades, god of death abducts Persephone and forces her to become his wife in the underworld. Her mother Demeter, the goddess of agriculture, seeking to rescue her daughter, searches for heroes who can undertake such a challenge.

Two heroes decide to help and are promised a mythical artifact that can change the course of war if they succeed. What comes next is pretty predictable. Defeat the monstuous three-headed dog, Cerberus as well as other monstrous creatures like medusas or a Minotaur, prove your bravery and wit, finally reach Hades and defeat him as well and reunite the damsel in distress in her mother. Pretty simple huh? Not quite.

The game is packed with challenges and movie-like cut-scenes, promising to keep you entertained for some time. You’ll get to chose between the two heroes, one Greek and the other Roman, enjoy 3D sceneries all through the game and slash your enemies with special moves.

If indeed you are to succeed, Demeter will award you the Helm of Hades, a mythical artifact that can change the course of the Greco-Roman war, enough to make any Greek or Roman hero proud.

At first sight the Inventec Iris looks like your average Windows Mobile powered handheld. Well, the design does differ a little bit from what you usually see in let’s say HTC’s devices, but basically it still comes with a 2.8 inch touchscreen display and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard as well as all those goodies Win Mobile users have grown accustomed to, like Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Media Player.

The QWERTY keyboard is revealed and ready for use if you slide the screen to the right and a MiniSD card slot is provided for memory expansion. Up to 1GB MiniSD memory cards are supported. The handheld also features Bluetooth with stereo headset support, IrDA and WiFi for connectivity and works on GSM networks. What makes it stand apart from other devices of this type, is a feature that most users will not be interested in at all. Nonetheless, it is worth mentioning that the Iris comes with a built-in barcode scanner.

Aside from that, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has recently approved this handheld, which means that we’ll be hearing more about it pretty soon, or might get to actually see it in shops in a couple of months.

It will apparently come out under the OPTICON trademark, in two versions, the H-16A and the H-16B, although no one seems to have any clue on what the difference between the two versions is (maybe the band it works on? Just a guess.) The handheld should last for approximately 4 hours of talk time or 150 hours of standby time and will apparently work on both GSM 850 and 1900.

So those people that have waited so long for a Windows Mobile handset with an integrated barcode scanner that others like the HTC Hermes or others have failed to provide will just have to wait until the Iris starts shipping, whenever that is.

Motorola Won't Give Up RAZR, but will ditch 3,500 People

Publicat de Sapphire Sunday, January 21, 2007 0 comentarii

One thing Motorola will definitely not cut down on too soon is its RAZR design phones. No matter what people think, or how bored some are with the same design, their design team seems to think they’re doing such a good job with the popular skinny phones that they don’t seem to want to give them up for anything in the world.

While I don’t think that any of the people from the second largest mobile phone maker’s (after Nokia) design team will be affected by Motorola’s decision, the company is in fact planning to drop some of their employees, to be more specific around 3,500 people (which is 5 percent of its workforce).

According to David Devonshire, Motorola’s chief financial officer, the company will eliminate middle management jobs. What’s the purpose of all this? Well, without the 3,500 people that will soon be sacked and other measures that will be taken in order to save money, Motorola is trying to reduce the costs by around $400 million. The only thing that Motorola is not about to change is strategy. According to Ed Zander, Chief Executive, all is just fine and the RAZR is as popular as it’s always been, maybe even more so.

"It's funny, I keep reading about Razrs being tired," he said "We sold more Razrs in quarter four than in any quarter we ever had. We now have sold over 75 million Razrs worldwide."

Aside from cutting down on the number of employees, and several letters from the names of their products (RAZR, KRZR), Motorola has also cut prices of its mobile phones during the fourth quarter to gain market share at the expense of profit margins.

Also, Motorola's net profit was its smallest in nine quarters, dating to the third quarter of 2004 before the RAZR was introduced. So, maybe the RAZR is kind of dieing, don’t ya think? It’s been around for 3 years already and while some people still like it, others are expecting something different from Motorola, that doesn’t include any funny letters or excessive slimness.

Ever since we lay our eyes on the iPhone, not a whole day has gone by without the phone being mentioned in one way or another. It’s not even important if it was mentioned in a good or bad way because in the end, it’s all about publicity, which is what the iPhone has been getting a lot of lately.

It doesn’t even matter if it’s actual advertising we’re talking about. Because the thing is, everybody knows about the iPhone already, even though some time will pass until it starts shipping. But while we all continue to be preoccupied with how great or crappy the iPhone might be, there are some people who simply don’t care because they already have what the iPhone offers plus much, much more. If you haven’t figured out who I’m talking about so far, it’s about the people from Japan. And if you stopped to check what phones KDDI and DoCoMo released so far (rumor has it that Softbank is to follow too), you won’t be at all surprised when you hear that there are few, if any, Japanese people who are thrilled about the iPhone.

And why would they be? Throughout the day of a person from Japan, a mobile phone is used for pretty much everything including watching TV, listening to music, buying and paying for stuff or navigation through GPS. And to top it off, not only do they get to do all that with the phone, but they have a very large number of phones that come with these capabilities, thus a wide variety of designs, sizes and colors to choose from. In fact, I think the only problem a Japanes person has, is to decide what phone to choose from so many.

They don’t have just one phone better than the iPhone,. It’s more like the majority of phones available for them are better. So, if you were to have all that, would you still be interested in the iPhone? While it’s clear that Japan will pretty much stay an iPhone-free country, the rest of us can but wait and hope to get at least the iPhone when KDDI is only something you can dream about.

KDDI F703i Shower-Proof and Relaxing

Publicat de Sapphire Friday, January 19, 2007 0 comentarii

I’m going to start by saying that basically all Japanese phones look the same, as in they’re all clamshells (well, almost), they’re all nice and smart and original and...waterproof? Well, no not exactly all of them. In fact very few of them are. But this one, the F703i is in fact waterproof. So hold it out in the rain, dip it in water, pour water over it or take it with you for a quick swim and you’ll be surprised to see that it will still work, just the same as it did before.

Just so you know how far you can go, the mobile will apparently withstand exposure to water sprayed from any direction (so, yes, you can definitely use it in the shower or rain) and can be submerged up to 1m for 30 minutes tops. The outer shell features a pretty original kind of illumination, and the phone comes with a relax mode, which as the name suggests, is supposed to relax you with the help of one of 15 relaxing patterns which includes a combination of music and enchanting illumination .

The next time the handset is not in use, it will switch to relax mode and start singing and flickering as you’ve previously set it to do. Other features that are clearly not as important include a 1.3 megapixel camera and a MicroSD card slot. What else can you enjoy on this phone? Music of course, Napster and Chaku-Uta Full, which is said to be the hottest app in Japan and is basically a song download service for mobile phones. You’ll get to pick your favorite color between Snow White, Blossom Pink and Lamp Black next month when the phone becomes available on KDDI. And, just so you know, next year I'm sending a letter to the Japanese Santa Claus, to see if he can deliver one of these under my Cristmass Tree.

Another Phone For Kids, The KDDI A5523T

Publicat de Sapphire Friday, January 12, 2007 0 comentarii

Are you exceedingly pretentious when it comes to choosing a mobile phone? Even if you are, it’s very probable that you will find at least one phone provided by KDDI that will strike your interest, because they have always provided good looking mobile phones that suit everyone’s needs. Also, if you have a kid that needs a mobile phone, or actually are a kid, even better, because KDDI has something for you as well.

KDDI recently introduced a mobile phone designed especially for kids, that allows parents to find out where their kids are at all times and is also very fun to use. Now you know how Asian parents are, always trying to equip their children with mobile phones with limitations and built-in GPS, and the A5523T provides all this.

The clamshell is manufactured by Toshiba and considerably less colorful than all of the mobile phones for kids out there. In fact I’m pretty sure that, when you found out this mobile phone was for kids, you were expecting it to be pink, purple or bright yellow. The phone features a 1.3 megapixel camera, a 2.4 inch main screen with a QVGA resolution as well as an external display, IrDa, 30MB internal memory, easily expandable with the help of a MicroSD card slot and the EZ FM service (FM radio).

The phone is not exactly lightweight at 114 grams, but not inconvenient to carry around either, and looking on the bright side, a slightly bulkier phone is harder to misplace or loose. KDDI’s A5523T will only be available in Asia, as usual, and I’m still waiting for someone to explain why exactly Asian people get all the nice and smart mobile phones.

Why am I writing about this? Because it’s funny and because kids from all around the world will now be thankful that they don’t live in Japan. The country’s government has recently decided that the best way to protect children from…um, well.. something (ALIEN ABDUCTION maybe???) is to incorporate a RFID tag into their mobile phones.

RFID tags have been used before, attached to or included in various devices, animals and people and can be identified by using radio waves, so basically, each time the child, using a mobile phone that's outfitted with the tag, passes the RFID readers that the government is planning to place at school gates and other locations, parents and teachers will know that their young ones are in peril or up to no good.

Yes, it’s true, parents want to keep their kids safe, but is this the only way to do it? One thing’s for sure, kids will never be able to skip school again, and every time their parents are notified that their kids are out of safe areas, they’ll be just one step away from a heart attack.

Over and over again, Japanese parents, mobile phone manufacturers and others interested in the matter, have come up with various ways to track down kids and supposedly keep them safe, but up until know kids have been known to survive without all the gadgets and phone call limitations. The Japanese Government will apparently spend a whopping $10 million in order to trial this system, which is a perfectly good waste of money if you ask me.

I don’t really know how much Pantech pays the people from its Design Community, but they seem to be pretty satisfied employees, because they keep on doing a great job and designing mobile phones that look absolutely awesome.

And aside from that, almost every week or two, another phone is released. They’ve won awards, and people’s admiration and now they’re announcing another phone, the IM-U170. The phone’s design is pretty simple and maybe that’s why it looks so nice. Several features are packed in the phone’s metal case, including a 2 megapixel camera with autofocus (obvious flaw, it’s not 5 mpx or more :P) as well as a VGA camera for video calling, a 2.2 inch 260k color screen with a QVGA resolution, Mp3 support and 120MB internal memory.

Also, this is the first mobile phone to provide face recognition technology. Apparently “The built-in camera traces the movement of the user's face to use for input instead of controllers. Users can have their real-time faces while playing games with the IM-U170.” While I don’t really understand how this works (call me ignorant if you want), I must admit that it sounds pretty exciting.

Those who think that size actually matters should also know that the phone measures 96.5 x 48 x 15.4 mm and weighs 106 grams. In the end, it’s just sad that only people from Asia will get to play with this great phone and I wish they’d finally decide to share the mobile phones they have with us people stuck here in Europe or other parts of the world.

Yes, the iPhone was unveiled and everybody's been talking about it ever since. For one whole day people could not stop talking about how wonderful it is…And then, after a good night’s sleep, the fellows mentioned before spent another whole day talking about how much it sux.

Firstly, this proves that people will jump up immediately and praise (like a bunch of confused little girls) whatever is highly rumored, advertised, or simply released by some important company. And then, when they're all bored with praising it, they turn to the second most entertaining thng to do, digg up for flaws. Personally, I think that all this ‘iPhone sux’ thing is total crap, but that's just my opinion and if you stop and think about it, you might end up agreeing, or not.

Furthermore, I know that people had high hopes regarding this phone, and thought it would be perfect from all points of view, especially after the launch of the N95, which is said to be great (although that was said before regarding Nokia phones and they turned out to be quite slow and lame). And now that they found out that it’s not perfect (because perfection does not exist. Duh!) suddenly the phone sux .

The saddest part is that they didn’t even stop to think about it, when they came with 5 reasons (at least) why the iPhone sux. Because, see, according to them, the iPhone shoulda packed much more than a 2 megapixel camera, simply because some phones have 5 megapixel ones. And, heck, there I thought the iPhone was a music phone. Ya know! An iPod turned into a phone, not a digicam, or both. And even if I'm wrong, and the IPhone was not meant to be only a music phone, more megapixels does not equal better photo quality.

Secondly, the iPhone provides only 5 hours worth of talk time, which is so lame comparing to the 2 hours and 45 minutes the newly released N76 provides, or the 5 hours the HTC TyTn sports (and keep in mind that this handheld mainly targets business users who actually NEED to talk, comparing to other people). Now the N93i also beats the crap out of the iPhone with 3 hours and 30 mins of talk time…now that’s a good phone. I can't possibly agree, because, generally, a big bright touch screen meens lower talk time. It's a compromise, yes, but then again I believe that everybody has a place that they call home (or work, or several other places), where they can charge their phone from time to time. Can you seriously tell me that you can own a high-tech mobile phone, but can't manage to find a plug in order to charge it?

Reason number three. No expansion slot. While I agree that more storage space is always appreciated, and people will actually want to view movies on this phone, how many mobile phones can you think of that offer more than 8Gigs? Yes, I know, one, two, maybe three. Fourth reason? No 3G. First off, as someone (can’t really remember who) announced, less than 1% of Cingular users actually have HSPDA capability. So since, at first, the IPhone will be released on Cingular ONLY, who’d ya reckon would actually need 3G? You? Are you on Cingular? No? Great, then no IPhone for you.

Yep, it’s also true that the Iphone might actually be available for others in the future, not only Cingular customers, and guess what, Apple is apparently cooking up a 3G version for them too. The only thing that actually bothers me as well, is the fact that you can’t remove the phone’s battery, which is pretty common among Apple products. Now that actually sux and I totally agree that you should complain. So maybe they should fix that, and if they don’t, it will be a major inconvenience. But hey, they’ve had a dozen good ideas and just a bad one.

Anyway, why the same people who praised the iPhone continuously after its release, now suddenly think it sucks, is beyond my understanding. And I’m not even trying to understand, really. The iPhone was released a couple of days ago and it's not even final. They have plenty of time to figure everything out. Also, this is not the ultimate phone that will provide everything you'll ever need. It will not grind your coffee, it will not serve you beer, it will not hug you or drive your car. So just add all this to 'the reasons why iPhone sux' list while you're at it.

There are also several reasons why the iPhone does not suck: great screen, awesome design, 8Gb internal memory and there are others as well. But I'm not going to talk on and on about how great it is(although at first sight it's mindblowing), because you can't really trully say something about this phone until you've used it. In the end, the phone might be better by the time it starts shipping. Or not. But I don’t see anyone saying how crappy all the other phones in the U.S. and Europe are. Now why is that?

We have grown accustomed to expect phones with a certain type of design from every mobile phone manufacturer, and the vast majority of phones released lately have come with a design that highly resembles the one used in previously released phones.
For example, Motorola will insist on only showing us RAZR-like phones, and no matter if the phones come with a clamshell, slider or candybar form factor, they end up looking pretty much the same.

The reason for this is that it's pretty hard for such a phone not to be successful if the previously released phone sporting the same type of design was popular.

Another manufacturer adopting this theory is LG, who is currently presenting a new type of Chocolate phone, the KG208. Basically, the phone looks like a KG800 with its sliding keyboard out, and features a 256k color TFT screen with a 128 x 160 pixel resolution, a 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth for connectivity and a MicroSD memory card slot for memory expansion. It supports MP3, WMA, AAC, AAC+, AAC++ files and comes with 64MB internal memory, which along with a memory card should be enough for the storage purposes.

It also provides an alternative for the people who like the KG800's looks but are not exactly fond of slider phones.

The KG208 measures 106.5 x 45.4 x 14.8 mm, weighs 86 grams (almost the same as the KG800, which weighs 83 grams) and will last for up to 180 minutes of talk time.

It is expected to be available in China pretty soon, but there is no information regarding the price for the moment.

Yes, let’s thank the Motorola people cause they finally made a mobile phone that actually works-the MOTOROLA MOTORIZR Z6. It’s supposed to have a brand new OS that will deliver a more crisper, faster response to the user. The other ,let’s say interesting thing, is that you have to hold the phone like a digicam to shoot with it’s 2-megapixel camera.

The other thing about the OS is it’s ability to handle up to 2 GB of microSD memory.

New Nokia N series phones

Publicat de jollyxter 0 comentarii

Nokia unveiled three new multimedia N-series handsets at the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show, including a thin flip handset in the N7x range of phones which sell in large volumes.

The new N76 is 13.7 millimeters thick and will be available in the first quarter of 2007 for around 390 euros ($511) before subsidies from operators or local taxes, Nokia said.

The initial models in the N-Series multimedia devices were criticized for their bulk. The N76 is designed around digital music playing, Internet browsing and photo blogging straight from the phone's 2 megapixel camera.

Nokia also announced a slimmer version of its N93 phone which doubles as a digital video camera, called the N93i. It will be available for 600 euros in the first quarter of 2007. It is 25 millimeters thick, down from 28.2 millimeters for the N93.

In the pic you can see the N76.

Isn’t that a surprise? Another iPod gadget for you “i-don’t have what to spend my money on” kind of people out there. This device works with Gen 5 iPod and it is the first four-channel mixer for iPod. It has a 3 band equalizer for each channel and it supports 16-bit,44-KHz audio.

The only good thing about this, if you ask me ,is it’s good looks as you can see from the attached CGI.

TuneStudio is supposed to go on sale this summer for 180 $,so you’d better start saving money and making room in your house, for yet another iPod gadget if you’re into this “iPod- gadget-collecting” kinda stuff.

It’s said to produce jaw-dropping crispy-clear sound. It also has a slide show player that you can plug into your TV and of course ,a remote.

It’ll be out on the street in February at a price of 149.99 $.

Not much to say about this little thing since it’s just another iPod speaker dock. The only other thing I can say is that for me it has a striking resemblance to the STARGATE-you know, the movie, time-traveling ,space-warping, mind-twisting device.

Shortly said - Toshiba's SD-H903A HD-DVD desktop dedicated writer.

The future still has great things to come since this drive is only 1x writing speed capable.

So no PS3-like stampede yet for this kind of drive, but awaiting for one in the near future.

3 brilliant people set out few years ago, to amaze us by offering the possibility to truly have our PC’s mobile. And so the OQO got born, a company that wants to revolutionize the PC market .So now they made available to us their brand new OQO MODEL 02.

Maybe now you’re wondering :What’s the deal with so much butt-kissing?

Well the butt-kissing is a result of reading this device’s specs.

I’ll share so you can make your lips brown too :))

-1.5 GHz VIA C7M ULV processor.

-1 Gb of DDR2 SDRAM running at 533 MHz

-60 Gb of shock-mounted, drop detect technology HDD.

-VIA VX700 integrated GPU with shared video RAM.

-backlit thumb keyboard

-58 keys total

-dedicated mouse and zoom buttons

-track stick pointing device

-audio jack: 3.5mm x 1 line out/line in

-video out: HDMI, VGA/Ethernet adapter (included), HDMI-DVI adapter available

-1 USB 2.0 compliant port

-AC97 sound system compatible

-HD audio support

-internal speaker and microphone

-5 inch display with 800*600 resolution

-bluetooth

-EV-DO integrated modem

-Wireless LAN: Atheros tri-mode 802.11a/b/g with diversity

Now if you say that is not more than enough for you, then you are a freakin’ hypocrite.

And maybe now you understand all that butt-kissing.

The really nasty down-side is the starting price of 1499 $ ,but I guess if you really are a gadget freak, than that money should be just like lunch-money for you.

P.S.-operating systems that the little bastard can run on:

-Windows Vista

-Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005

-Windows XP Professional

-Windows XP Home

Or so it looks like. The new Sony Vaio VGX-TP1 designers are either French, either just addicted to cheese but their new computer has a striking resemblance to a wheel of cheese. The “tasty “ new computer has a HDMI port , a DVD burner a built-in card reader and of course the usual USB ports for the tech-savvy cheese addicted people out there .And since you can’t operate a wheel of cheese without a keyboard ,the Sony Vaio VGX-TP1 comes with a wireless Apple-like ,milk-white keyboard.

It’s bound to “roll out” on the market in March at a price of around 1600 $ -pricy cheese I might say.

Looks like Samsung is currently attempting world domination, at least when it comes to mobile phone innovation. You see, it’s mainly because of them and their ultra-slim LCD that we can find all those oh-so-slim mobile phones, and it’s completely their ‘fault’ that all other manufacturers have joined in the game and produced slimmer phones as well.

And they won’t stop at that either, because some people out there seem to be into double LCD phones, and Samsung has to try and beat everyone at that as well. They have now announced a double-sided LCD for mobile phones that is completely capable of producing independent images on each of its two sides. And because this new LCD can replace two display panels that obviously brings to even slimmer mobile phones.

So if you’re not currently happy with your already very slim mobile phone, you can get a new one, even slimmer and with a double-sided LCD. Now how nice is that? Moving on to the technical aspect, the LCD is 2.6 mm thick and has a QVGA resolution, and it will be exhibited at the CES 2007. Did I mention it also cuts the cost of making thin phones? So, slimmer and cheaper mobiles? Nah, I won’t believe it till I see it, whenever they’ll decide to include this thing in a cell.

And so they did. By launching the first TERABYTE HDD, HITACHI is here to aid all you porn “collectors” out there and of course laugh in Seagate's face,it's main competitor. If “only” 750 Gb wasn’t enough for your storing needs ,now with only 399 $ you can buy the new HITACHI Deskstar 7K1000 – the first commercial ,desktop-consumer-aimed HDD that comes with 1 Tb of storing capabilities.

Consumers are said to be skeptical for the moment about this new drive, but the same thing happened when Hitachi launched the 1GB HDD years ago.

The storing device technology has been improving a lot for the last 50 years, tracing back to the first HDD that had more that 1 ton and stored 5MB of data.

All that being said we eagerly await for the future and for new PORN releases since we will be having this much storing capability on our PC’s.

You can now find the Sharp 770SH special edition phone, wrapped up in the silver, black and red McLaren Mercedes colors.
Which really makes me wonder whether anyone would actually buy such a phone, because it’s not like releasing a mobile phone of this type is actually new or useful in anyway for anyone, well, at least not from my point of view. It has been done several times, the perfect example being the Sirocco that comes with various brandings, including Aston Martin and Lamborghini. So do people want this kind of phone, and are they really willing to pay more, provided the phone might cost more (and in some cases it does), for a change of color or slight change of looks? On the other hand, the Sharp 770SH, Mclaren edition or not, is a pretty decent handset with 3G capabilities, a 262k color screen with a QVGA resolution, video and mp3 playback and a 1.3 megapixel cam. With a 5MB internal memory, it’s also no wonder that the phone actually features a MiniSD card slot, because to be honest, I can’t imagine what you could do with 5MB worth of memory on a phone that supports Mp3 files. The phone clearly isn't suited for a more advanced user but would be a great choice for the less pretentious. And while I’m not exactly sure what type of user a special edition phone like this one targets, if you stop to check the Vodafone website, it seems that the 770SH MacLaren edition is already available to the public, for 60 euros on a contract.

Sharp launches "LCD wall" !??

Sharp-launch-LCD-wall. Now let’s expand that subject a bit-starting with Sharp-the Japanese technology giant that was born in 1915 with the invention of a “mechanical pencil”!!???????, brought to our attention their new ,awkward, mutant TV-a giant 108 inch LCD TV or as I like to call it, a “LCD wall”.

As Sharp already admitted, they don’t really have a target consumer for this monstrosity –but as they said –“We’ll surely find someone that will buy this”. That cause the price of this “wall” is not yet known, or other important details like “How much does this weigh?”-that being an important factor cause you don’t want to collapse your house with this thing.

All that we really know about this giant is that it will “ship this summer”, and that it features one of Sharp's D92 series of LCD displays having a 15,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio!!???

Anyway, what troubles me the most is - how the hell can you “insert” this thing into your house?
